Joanna Goodman is a member of our Healthcare & Life Sciences and Social impact practice.
Within healthcare and life sciences, she has worked with many of the top payers, providers, and pharma services companies. Her work focuses on corporate strategy, large-scale transformations, customer experience—including business-to-business—and post-acquisition growth strategies for private equity-backed portfolio companies.
In her Social Impact work, Joanna specializes in economic development and health equity. She co-led the development of our health equity strategy and has led or advised numerous cases with nonprofits, impact investors, and provider systems.
Beyond her client work, she is a Women @ Bain peer group leader and advocate for the associate classes.
Joanna began her career at Bain as an associate consultant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and public policy from Dartmouth College and earned both an MBA and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University. Prior to returning to Bain after graduate school, she served as director of strategic initiatives at the Robin Hood Foundation in New York. In her personal time, she enjoys running, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
